SCWID services are provided to local non-commercial organisations under the following main terms and conditions. If there is anything not covered on this page, please contact us to confirm acceptability. SCWID is operated by Coadjutor Web Design (the operator). The operator offers limited free or discount services including web site design, advice, support and assistance to an organisation (the recipient) which is using or planning to use the Internet. The recipient must be non-profit-making and have an administrative or operational address either within the Borough of Darlington or with a post code DL1, DL2 or DL3. The operator, its staff or associates accept no liability for loss or injury arising from use of the services provided. Submission of an application form does not guarantee provision of services which is at the sole discretion of the operator of the SCWID scheme. Services provided under the SCWID scheme may be changed at any time by the operator. Services provided under the SCWID scheme may be terminated at any time by the operator or the recipient of the service. When services are no longer provided to a recipient, any current pages or related information may be transferred to another supplier. Free and discounted services are available only at the time of offer and charges may be introduced or varied at any time. Additional services may be purchased from the operator at current rates. Sites designed under the SCWID scheme may be hosted on the operator's domains subject to approval of the operator. Approval may be withdrawn at any time by the operator without notice. Where a site is hosted on one of the operator's domain names the name remains the property of the operator and the recipient has no rights in that name other than the temporary storage and publication of pages produced under the SCWID scheme. Use of the operator's domain names may be withdrawn at any time. No direct administrative access to the operator's domain names is available. Promotion of web sites without approval of the operator is prohibited. This specifically includes repeated submissions to search engines, automatic submission systems, FFA lists, and any method regarded as spamming by any search engine. These methods could lead to the banning of all sites produced by SCWID and the recipient will be held liable for any resulting costs or losses. The operator reserves the right to refuse to design pages or publish information which it considers inappropriate, defamatory, having adult content or for any other reason. The recipient retains copyright in information and images provided by them. Pictures and information provided by the operator are copyright of the operator unless confirmed otherwise in writing. The operator reserves rights in the copyright of any design produced for a recipient under the SCWID scheme. A web site produced through SCWID must contain a visible acknowledgement that it was produced under the scheme and include a link to the SCWID web site unless confirmed otherwise in writing. The operator is not directly identified on web sites produced under the scheme. Scheme, operator, author and technical contact information is included in special header sections of every page (not normally visible to visitors).
