The SCWID scheme offers certain free and discount Internet services to local voluntary organisations, charities, community and social groups and other non-commercial organisations in the Darlington (UK) area.
The aim of SCWID is to help the people who run or are otherwise involved in these groups to exploit the benefits of using the World Wide Web and other parts of the Internet. The main services offered are a free web site with one or more pages, maintenance and development of the site plus specific or general advice and assistance when using the Internet.
